The Kennedy Company of VA, Inc. was founded in 1987 by Barbara Kennedy as a small, family-owned contracting business.
The company's first project was cleaning trash from a lake.
With civil engineer Kurt Kennedy alongside Barbara, the company expanded into Department of Transportation work.
Over the years, The Kennedy Company of VA, Inc. has evolved and grown. Today, our focus and expertise are in tunnel facilities, movable bridges, underground utilities, jet fan systems, and specialized mechanical infrastructure throughout Hampton Roads and surrounding areas.
Nearly four decades later, The Kennedy Company remains family owned, bringing the same hands-on approach to specialized tunnel, bridge, utility, mechanical, and infrastructure work.
